Every year, the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 ranks among the bestselling treadmills between users and fitness enthusiasts alike. Most of it comes down to the vast level of impressive features that the 1750 model is crammed with; which includes a large interactive display, an iFit Coach connectivity that allows you to access limitless workout programs, a dual incline and decline level, a powerful motor, Bluetooth audio capability, and a sleek design that can also be folded for storage space to name just a few.

While the 1750 ranks as a relatively entry-level machine in a line of more advanced running treadmills by NordicTrack, its robust nature and versatility can allow you to achieve a large number of exercises to keep you in top shape. Read on to find why this treadmill should be a primary candidate for your consideration.

In terms of size, the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 is a big one with a length of 78 inches. It is as wide as 39 inches and 63 inches tall. The belt itself is slightly wider than what an industry standard treadmill would be, coming at dimensions of 22" x 60". The thickness of the belt makes walking or running more comfortable thanks to a cushioning that reduces impacts on your joints.

Do not feel troubled by the size though as the C1750 is foldable and utilizes an EasyLift™ Assist technology that can fold up or release the treadmill safely using its internal hydraulic mechanism. When you’re not using the treadmill or don’t have extra space in your house, you can always fold the treadmill to save that space. Transport wheels at the base of the deck allow you to roll the machine from one room to the next. However, because the NordicTrack C1750 is heavy, weighing up to 315lbs, pushing it to and fro between rooms will be a workout in itself.

The NordicTrack C1750 utilizes a wide 10” HD touchscreen that allows you to interact with different functions of the treadmill with a single touch. It is here that you will find an abundance of features that open up a multitude of options. The console itself has 50 built-in workout apps providing a diverse range of exercise options to choose from, that can also be tailored to your needs. You can choose between four distinct workout categories such as interval training, speed training, heart rate mode, and calorie burn.

What’s especially impressive is that the NordicTrack C1750 allows you to connect to the iFit Coach application, and as a result, access a limitless number of workouts that are updated on a regular basis. Initially when you purchase the treadmill, you get a 1 year free subscription for the iFit Coach and the subscription can later be renewed after the free period is over. However, I would strongly suggest that if you can afford it, the iFit will be a game changer.

Did I also mention that the machine connects to a Google Map Viewer and can simulate nearly every possible terrain? It then replicates the outdoor conditions of walking/running on that terrain. So for instance, if the screen shows you’re running on asphalt, the cushioning beneath your feet will become less bouncy and accurately give you the feeling of running on concrete. The app also allow you to save 5 user profiles, so if you have a family, each member can have their own profile to track their progress and the iFit Coach will customize their workouts based on their own recent activity and fitness targets.

However, if you don’t want to renew your subscription once the year is over, you can still make do with the 50 workout programs. You will easily be able to set the pace between 1MPH to 12MPH, and also change the slope angle between -3% to 15%. This ability to manually adjust the decline or incline of the slope allows you to strengthen your muscles, improve cardiovascular conditioning, and customize each workout based on what your goals are. You can also position your phone or tablet in the special tablet-holder on the console to experience onboard entertainment.

Since the 2018 model, NordicTrack has integrated wireless Bluetooth connectivity to this model and that enables users to connect their Bluetooth devices to the C1750 and play music (or listen to podcasts, if that’s their thing) on the dynamic 3” digitally amplified speakers. In addition to that you will also find heart pulse sensors located on the handrails as well as a separate heart monitor (accessed via chest strap, sold seperately) in order to get an accurate reading of your heart-rate. A pair of AutoBreeze fans help keep the console cool and prevent it from overheating.

The C1750 features a robust solid-steel construction that can withstand intense running sessions. A noiseless and powerful 3.75 HP motor helps operate the running belt and allows different parts of the treadmill to function seamlessly. The workout surface is around 2” larger than your average treadmill, ranging at dimensions of 22-inch x 60-inch, allowing larger individuals to be able to operate the machine and still have plenty of room to take full strides.

The tread belt is high quality, two-ply, and resistant to stretching and the degree of its thickness assists in minimizing noise thus making it more durable and long-lasting. WhisperDeck cushioning technology allows you to turn on or off the cushioning at will, therefore allowing you to increase or decrease the level of impact absorption when you’re moving. This feature is best utilized when you want to add more variety to your workouts or are going through a specific training.

The NordicTrack 1750 supports weighs up to 300lbs which, for a foldable model, is really decent as it will accommodate a majority of users, even heavyset ones, to easily operate the machine.

NordicTrack offers a 10 year warranty on the frame, 2 years on the motor and parts, while 1 year on the labor. Additionally, the brand also offers a 30 day full money-back guarantee. In terms of the parts and electronics, I feel like the warranty is shorter as compared to that provided by other brands. But that shouldn’t be a concern for all as the machine most likely wouldn’t break down on you.

Now with most of the essential features covered, let us weighs the pros and cons of the machine.

  • Very sturdy design
  • 50 workout programs
  • iFit Coach app makes this an all-in-one treadmill
  • Decline and incline option
  • Running deck simulates real-life terrain

  • Heavy machine and not very portable
  • Warranty is shorter than other treadmills

With everything covered, it is very easy to see why the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 is such a revered treadmill and a top ranking exercise machine among users. With the insanely high number of possible workouts to derive from the machine, you can micro-manage nearly every small detail of your workout. Integrate that with the iFit Coach app and the Commercial 1750 becomes not just an elite treadmill but arguably one of the best treadmills to currently be available in the market. This is surely going to serve you for a long time to come.
