If you have recently bought or plan on buying the Fitbit Charge 2 from the leading company in the field of fitness trackers, Fitbit, you should read this article so you could get a better knowledge of your device and how to set it up.  Fitbit uses the Fitbit app, which is compatible with more than 200 devices that support iOS, Android and Windows 10. How to Setup Fitbit Charge 2

The creators of this very well designed fitness device have done their most to make the sure that the process of setting up Fitbit 2 is easy and effortless. There are just a few steps to be taken  in order to set up your own Fitbit Charge 2. Before you can start the process of setting up your Fitbit, be sure to check out if it is compatible with your mobile device.

Setting the Fitbit Charge 2 with a mobile device

To set up the Fitbit Charge 2 on your mobile device, go to The Google Play Store, The Apple App Store or the Windows Store, depending on your device, and download the appropriate app. You will need an account in order to download and install the app. When you successfully install the Fitbit app, open it and tap  ”Join Fitbit” to login or create your own account. Continue following instructions in order to pair or connect the tracker with your mobile device. This is all Fitbit requires from you to do in order to pair the tracker with your mobile device.

Setting the Fitbit Charge 2 with a PC

If you don’t have a mobile device or prefer to pair your fitness tracker with your personal computer, Fitbit has made available the same Windows app for PC as is the case with their mobile devices. To set up your tracker, you need to go to the Windows Store and download the Fitbit app from there (you have to register first). When  you register and download, there are a few more steps to take and questions to answer before you can connect your tracker with your PC. The whole pairing process is pretty straightforward and takes a little of your time; but in the end you will have a completely synced device which will automatically sync data back and forth from your PC.

Tips for a more effective use of your fitness tracker

For those of you who want to take your Fitbit experience even further, we have got a couple of tips. Our first advice is to constantly watch your steps and activity in real time; you can do this if you have your phone nearby you. This will prevent you from getting the ”stat gap” if your Fitbit goes out of battery. In addition to this, you can recommend the Fitbit app to your friends even if they don’t have a Fitbit device; they could still download the app and use it to rack up stats and compete against you. This will not only entice them to workout, but will give you motivation to workout harder as well. For additional motivation, you can set up voice cues by tapping the stopwatch icon and then going into Cues.
